SXSW: UNRULY BODIES, a one-night-only sunset salon and nightclub at Cheer Up Charlies for power, pleasure, resistance, and reproductive rights. Powered by SisterSong and the Repro Uncensored Coalition, the evening was full of dynamic DJ sets and talks by global artists, musicians, activists, and organizers!
This event was free and open to the public, with donations to Texas-based reproductive healthcare org The Afiya Center encouraged. The event started with a conversational community salon and panel, followed by performances and sets!

With our reproductive rights under attack, there is a need for more public learning spaces for reproductive justice rooted in creativity, community care, resource-sharing, cultural exchange, and shared values. Unruly Bodies created space to embrace joy as an act of resistance, while learning about reproductive justice solutions.
